On April 13, DocBay introduced itself to several health professionals at the Pestana Pal\u00e1cio do Freixo, located in the city of Porto. The main purpose of the meeting was to demonstrate how to simplify healthcare. “We wanted to show how to empower health units and doctors and also present our range of innovations to a community of professionals from different specialties,” said those responsible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
DocBay was founded in 2023 to develop modern software that would simplify the field of medicine, which to this day is marked by complexity, both in the patient’s experience of accessing healthcare and in the doctor’s daily work. After a few months of development and several tests of the software, the startup decided to present itself to the medical community. The venue chosen was the Pestana Pal\u00e1cio do Freixo, in Porto, on an afternoon marked by good spirits among the 100 or so guests. “DocBay is about simplicity” <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n After a welcome cocktail, served in the hotel garden and with a breathtaking view of the river, the guests went to the Douro Room to officially meet DocBay. The introduction was given by Mickael Freitas, the head of the company, who, in a relaxed way, grabbed the attention of the professionals attending. He began by thanking everyone for coming and, above all, for the trust they placed in DocBay. “Trusting us in a year is easy, but trusting us now, on day one of DocBay, is much more difficult since the business of a startup always has several risks associated with it. Thank you for that, for standing by us at such an important moment for the company.” In between stories, Mickael Freitas revealed DocBay’s mission: to build the largest medical center in the world. “Our main goal is to achieve nationwide adoption of the solution.
