Organized by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cmems.uminho.pt\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.cmems.uminho.pt\/\">MicroElectroMechanical Systems Center (CMEMS)<\/a> at the University of Minho, the event aims to promote integration between fundamental science, engineering, and clinical practice, exploring innovative solutions for oral and facial rehabilitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The opening session will feature researcher <strong>Sara Madeira<\/strong>, who will discuss <strong>\u201cBiomimetic Implants and Light-Based Approaches for Oral Health,\u201d<\/strong> highlighting the growing role of optical and photonic technologies in modern dental medicine. Among the invited speakers are <strong>Filipe Silva<\/strong>, presenting the latest solutions in ultra-thin zirconia and PEEK crowns for aesthetic and non-invasive treatments, and <strong>Lia Rimondini<\/strong> (University of Piemonte Orientale, Italy), an international reference in bone regeneration guided by electromagnetic and mechanical stimuli.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regulatory aspects will also be addressed, with <strong>Michael Gasik<\/strong> (Aalto University, Finland) reviewing the new European legislation and its implications for dental clinics.
