The award acknowledges not only Lucete Fernandes F\u00e6r\u00f8vig\u2019s solid academic career \u2014 which includes a degree in Dental Medicine from the University of Lisbon and a specialization in Orthodontics from the University of Oslo \u2014 but also her continuous contribution to international clinical research, with publications in leading journals and participation in globally relevant scientific conferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Dewel Award will be presented during the annual meeting of the AJO-DO Editorial Board, held in conjunction with the annual session of the American Association of Orthodontists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lucete Fernandes F\u00e6r\u00f8vig (Faerovig) holds a degree in Dental Medicine from the Faculty of Dental Medicine of the University of Lisbon (1989) and a specialization in Orthodontics from the University of Oslo (1994\u20131997), where she currently serves as Assistant Professor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She has practiced exclusively in Orthodontics in Norway and Portugal since 1997 and has also conducted research as a Research Fellow at the University of Oslo.
