It appears to be a well-structured study, with relevant indicators and credible results, which for a 95% confidence interval was 2.83%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Do you consider that the Barometer accurately reflects the current state of oral health in Portugal?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In terms of results, there seems to be consistency with the current reality of oral health in Portugal, which is marked by inequalities in access and high associated costs. A significant portion of the population does not seek dental care in a timely manner, leading pathologies to progress to more severe stages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Which aspects of the Barometer do you consider most relevant to daily clinical practice?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Relevant aspects include the apparent trend toward improvement in the population\u2019s oral hygiene habits. Notably, 78% of Portuguese respondents say they brush their teeth regularly, and most do so at least twice a day. The continuous improvement in oral hygiene habits will have a direct impact on prevention, coinciding with earlier detection of dental, periodontal, and bone pathologies. Clinically, we can expect a consolidation of a more conservative treatment strategy, as opposed to the more extraction-focused approach of the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Is there any data from the barometer that surprised you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most striking finding for me was the significant reduction in the number of Portuguese people lacking natural teeth, combined with a growing awareness of the need for oral rehabilitation.
