{"id":1889,"date":"2026-06-26T14:53:00","date_gmt":"2026-06-26T14:53:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dentalpro.pt\/en\/?p=1889"},"modified":"2026-06-29T14:56:08","modified_gmt":"2026-06-29T14:56:08","slug":"apormed-with-new-governing-bodies-for-2026-2028","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dentalpro.pt\/en\/2026\/06\/26\/apormed-with-new-governing-bodies-for-2026-2028\/","title":{"rendered":"APORMED with new governing bodies for 2026-2028"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.apormed.pt\/\">Portuguese Association of Medical Device Companies (APORMED)<\/a>&nbsp;has re-elected Antonieta Lucas as president of its board for the 2026-2028 term, representing the company Alcon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The public inauguration ceremony for the new governing bodies of APORMED, held on June 22nd, was attended by approximately 80 people and included the presence of the Secretary of State for Health Management, Francisco Pinheiro Catal\u00e3o, as well as other institutional guests, notably the Member of Parliament from the PSD Parliamentary Group, representatives of Professional Orders, the President of the Board of Directors of INFARMED, IP, the President of the Board of Directors of the Ethics Committee for Clinical Research (CEIC), representatives of the Executive Directorate of the SNS, the Directorate-General of Health, and AICEP, among other individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The APORMED management is fully aware of the complexity and difficulties that health systems in general, and our National Health Service in particular, currently face to be sustainable and equitable. \u201cWe therefore intend to continue to be part of the solutions. We believe that a responsible stance and constant dialogue with different partners, seeking compromises and genuine value relationships, will be the key to the success of this sector,\u201d emphasized Antonieta Lucas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to Alcon, the new APORMED board will also be represented by Johnson &amp; Johnson MedTech, Medtronic, Siemens Healthineers, Palex Portugal, Bastos Viegas SA, and Abbott Medical. The General Assembly Board is now composed of Inibsa Laboratories, Baxter International Inc., and JMV Produtos Hospitalares Lda. The supervisory board includes BIOTRONIK, BD, and B.
