This situation leads to a high prevalence of oral pathologies.<\/p>\n<p>Mundo A Sorrir and Entrajuda reactivated the Dr. Laughter project with the support of the BPI Capacitar 2018 Award. The main objective of the project is to reduce the most prevalent diseases in the oral cavity of children and young people with Special Health Needs to provide better preventive care and better accessibility to health care. It is aimed at children with special needs, aged between 3 and 16 years, belonging to Private Social Solidarity Institutions (IPSS&#8217;s) supported by Entrajuda.<\/p>\n<p>Initially, the project was developed by the Entrajuda institution, but in 2012, it began to be developed by Mundo a Sorrir until the year 2017.
