{"id":577,"date":"2019-06-27T08:49:54","date_gmt":"2019-06-27T08:49:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dentalpro.pt\/en\/?p=577"},"modified":"2019-06-27T08:49:54","modified_gmt":"2019-06-27T08:49:54","slug":"do-you-already-know-about-arthur-3d-dentofacial-surgery-full-planning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dentalpro.pt\/en\/2019\/06\/27\/do-you-already-know-about-arthur-3d-dentofacial-surgery-full-planning\/","title":{"rendered":"Do you already know about ARTHUR &#8211; 3D Dentofacial Surgery Full Planning?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A team of researchers from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra, made up of Francisco Caramelo (researcher from the Laboratory of Biostatistics and Medical Informatics of ICBR &#8211; Institute of Clinical and Biomedical Research of Coimbra) and Francisco do Vale (director of the Institute of Orthodontics), form a national venture to develop an innovative 3D simulation and visualization platform for the planning of facial surgeries and orthodontic-surgical treatments.<\/p>\n<p>Named &#8220;ARTHUR &#8211; 3D Dentofacial Surgery Full Planning&#8221;, the project &#8211; which won funding of around 800 thousand euros under the Portugal 2020 program &#8211; is led by CODI, the Instituto Portugu\u00eas da Face (Portuguese Institute of Face) and it features the participation of the University of Aveiro.
