The ceremony took\nplace at 12pm in the Senate Room of the Rectory building of the\nUniversity of Lisbon, chaired by the rector of the University of\nLisbon \u2013 Ant\u00f3nio Manuel da Cruz Serra, assisted by vice-rectors\nJo\u00e3o Manuel Pardal Barreiros and Eduardo Manuel Baptista Ribeiro\nPereira. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This\ninauguration was also attended by the parting director and deputy\ndirector, Lu\u00eds Pires Lopes and Jaime Portugal respectively, who have\njust completed a six-year term at the institution; the president of\nthe School Council, Jo\u00e3o Aquino Marques; professor M\u00e1rio Bernardo;\nexecutive director Cristina Fernandes, accompanying the new director\nand the new vice-director, Jo\u00e3o Caram\u00eas and Duarte Marques\nrespectively. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Being\na closed-door ceremony given the contingencies we are experiencing,\nthe message of the new director of the Faculty of Dental Medicine of\nthe University of Lisbon can be found on the website. \n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On January 4th the new director of the Faculty of Dental Medicine of the University of Lisbon (FMDUL) Jo\u00e3o Caram\u00eas took office.
