The new nomenclature of potentially malignant oral lesions was recently carried out in the global workshop \u201cExpert Symposium on Oral Potentially Malignant Disorders (OPMDs)\u201d, promoted by the World Health Organisation Collaborating Centre for Oral Cancer.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\nThe workshop was attended by a number of experts\nfrom several countries, including names like Edward Odell (United\nKingdom), Fernanda Weber Mello (Brazil), Graham Ogden (United\nKingdom), Jose M. Aguirre (Spain), Miguel Gonzalez Moles (Spain),\nNewell Johnson (Australia), Phil Sloan (United Kingdom), Saman\nWarnakulasuriya (United Kingdom), Ross Kerr (USA) and, for the first\ntime, Portuguese dentist, Lu\u00eds Monteiro.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lu\u00eds Monteiro participated in the new classification of potentially malignant lesions of the Collaborative Oral Cancer Centre of the World Health Organisation (WHO).
