It is a milestone in our profession and the Autonomous Region\nof Madeira is the first to take this step.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the meeting with the Regional Health\nSecretary, the OMD&#8217;s President thanked the Regional Government for its\ncommitment, stressing that \u201ctoday RAM has done justice to a gap in the National\nHealth Service and RAM gives an example that the integration of dentists is\nviable and necessary. We hope that this is a starting point for the autonomous\nregions of Azores and the mainland can quickly follow this example.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The secretary of Health and Civil\nprotection, Pedro Ramos, pointed out the \u201chistoric and important moment\u201d of\nthis approval that \u201cshows the pioneering spirit of the Regional Health Service\nand the Region&#8217;s respect for our professionals\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fabi\u00e3o Castro Silva, representative of OMD\nin RAM, stated \u201cit is with great pride that I see Madeira taking this step,\nwhich is so significant for our profession.
