Henry Schein gathers 100 professionals

February 24th was the day chosen by Henry Schein to hold the Workshop and Hands-on CAD/CAM at Casa de Saúde da Boavista, in Oporto. Getting acquainted and interact with users of several systems of CAD/CADM within the Henry Schein Connect Dental field was the event’s ultimate goal, one that gathered 100 participants. During the Workshop and Hands-on CAD/CAM, several users of CEREC, inLab, 3Shap and VHF systems presented their experiences with the technology and the way they interacted with CAD/CAM and its digital flow in clinics and labs.
The program counted with the presence of Luís Valadares, who spoke about “Photography during the digital recording process and the transmission of colour registration. Hands-on with Canon”, André Simões, with the subject “Digital flow in the clinic with multi-brand systems. Single restorations with CAD/CAM: tricks and hints”; Carlos Repullo, who approached the subject “Crowns over implants with Cerec CAD/CAM systems. Tissue moulding using the DAP technique. Hands-on CAD/CAM”; João Fonseca, with the lecture on the “Introduction to CAD/CAM with the Cerec system. Digital process vs traditional methods; benefits and limitations”; and Pedro Brito who described the “Digital flow with multi-brand systems. The intraoral impression in the clinic and the CAD/CAM in the Practice Lab”.
