The Faculty of Dental Medicine of the University of Lisbon (FMDUL) and the Portuguese League Against Cancer – Southern Branch (LPCC-NRS) signed a collaboration protocol on October 3, 2025, aimed at reinforcing cooperation between the two institutions in the field of oral health.
The agreement’s primary objective is to ensure greater access to specialized treatments for cancer patients, contributing to the improvement of their quality of life. The partnership will enable the coordination of clinical and academic resources, providing a more effective and integrated response to the needs of this population.
During the signing ceremony, representatives from FMDUL and LPCC-NRS highlighted the importance of a multidisciplinary approach in treating cancer patients, reinforcing the essential role that oral health plays in their overall well-being.
Through this protocol, FMDUL reaffirms its commitment to social responsibility, putting its scientific and clinical expertise at the service of the community, while LPCC-NRS strengthens its mission of providing comprehensive support to cancer patients.
