The BTI Biotechnology Institute, a company specializing in oral implantology, regenerative medicine, and sleep disorders, held its scientific-clinical congress on November 15th and 22nd, respectively, at the Europa Conference Center in Vitoria and the Mutua Madrileña Auditorium in Madrid. This latest edition of the annual meeting of the Vitoria-based company showcased the most recent innovations developed by the BTI R&D team, led by Eduardo Anitua.
Under the motto ” Everything is connected ,” advanced clinical update sessions were held, in which, through lectures given by specialists in oral implantology, regenerative medicine, and sleep disorders, it was demonstrated how scientific evidence, innovation, and experience intertwine to offer solutions applicable to daily clinical practice.
Among the topics covered this year were the latest advances in treatments for jaws with extreme bone resorption and bone scarcity, highlighting the presentation of the new 2.5 platform implant (one of the narrowest in the world, with an internal connection, designed to allow the treatment of patients with extreme horizontal resorption in a more predictable and less traumatic way), and Eduardo Anitua’s latest book : “Challenges and solutions in horizontal bone atrophy,” which addresses treatments for these situations from a clinical-biological perspective.
As in previous editions of BTI Day, in addition to scientific topics, other educational content was included, such as the conference “The Respiratory Brain,” given by physicist Gustavo García Díez , a specialist in cognitive neuroscience and founder of Nirakara, which took place in Vitoria; or the conference “Heart-Brain Relationship,” by Nazareth Castellanos , a neuroscience specialist, which closed the BTIDAY event in Madrid.
