As part of the action plan for digital education promoted by the European Commission, the Faculty of Dental Medicine of the University of Lisbon (FMDUL) has been awarded the Digital City project.
Dentist João Caramês, the institution’s director, told DentalPro that the aim is to “significantly expand the exposure of undergraduate and postgraduate students to protocols, instruments and software for the diagnosis, planning and execution of oral rehabilitation by digital means, fulfilling an increasingly necessary learning curve in the present and future practice of the profession”.
