We’re organizing the DentalPro Awards again, but this year with a different format. The “Best Dentist” initiative, with several categories in competition, aims to honor and distinguish the work of excellence of Portuguese dentists and simultaneously promote greater communication and interaction between the various players in the sector.
Before the winners are announced, a business lunch will be held to bring together the members of the jury, made up of a representative cross-section of the dental sector’s business community. Pedro Taveira, director general of MegaGen Portugal and Goldentav, is among the professionals who will be selecting the dental clinics’ work of excellence.
He was born in Porto in May 1978. After graduating in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Pedro Taveira was quality director of an electrical installation company for a year and a half, followed by four years as marketing director and manager of a building materials trading company, where he fell in love with the trade. In 2008, he founded Goldentav, a company specializing in consumables, equipment, and furniture for dental laboratories, where he is general and financial director. In 2012, he co-founded MegaGen Portugal Lda, a company specializing in marketing implantology solutions for dental clinics, where he has held the position of general and financial director since it was founded.
During the event, in addition to the voting, there will be a debate between the professionals present, on current and relevant topics for the activity. It will also be a great opportunity for networking and exchanging ideas. The jury meeting will take place on June 17 in Porto. The ceremony to award the winners will take place on September 13.
