We’re organizing the DentalPro Awards again, but this year with a different format. The “Best Dentist” initiative, with several categories in competition, aims to honor and distinguish the work of excellence of Portuguese dentists and simultaneously promote greater communication and interaction between the various players in the sector.
Before the winners are announced, a business lunch will be held to bring together the members of the jury, made up of a representative cross-section of the dental sector’s business community. Luís Gomes, country manager of Henry Schein Portugal, is among the professionals who will be selecting the dental clinics’ work of excellence.
Born on May 12, 1969, in Monte Estoril, he has a degree in Business Management and Administration from the Universidade Europeia. With 31 years of experience in the dental sector, Luís Gomes was sales representative at Casa Schmidt, sales director and country manager at Hispano Lusa Dental (Dentalite Group), sales director at Euroconexão Medical and sales director and country manager at Fadente Portugal (Proclinic Group). He has been part of the Henry Schein Group since 2012, as country manager for Portugal and a member of the Iberian management committee. In his spare time, he enjoys walking and traveling.
During the event, in addition to the voting, there will be a debate between the professionals present, on current and relevant topics for the activity. It will also be a great opportunity for networking and exchanging ideas. The jury meeting will take place on June 17 in Porto. The ceremony to award the winners will take place on September 13.
