Approaching our silver anniversary, we visited the place where, for 24 years, smiles have been created, bringing life to new faces and new forms of expression. Amidst the hustle and bustle of the workbenches, Francisco Castro shared with us the present and future reality of a laboratory that is striding towards digital emancipation.

Henrique Lorenzo Mota and João Sousa Martins are the faces of TBO Central de Compras, a company that was born in 2023 and is focused on optimising management in the dental sector. According to those responsible, the company’s differential ‘lies in its personalised approach and total focus on saving time and resources’.

Since its opening in 2013, the laboratory has seen sustained expansion. With a team of eight people who guarantee the realisation of all types of prostheses, milling is the core business of its production. Ana Silva, founder and director of Laboratório Novodente, tells us that she ‘likes to take risks, evolve and always go one step further’ in a sector where digitalisation is already a reality that is impossible to ignore.
