Between the 7th and the 8th of April, the sixth edition of the Implantology & Oral Rehabilitation Congress will take place at the Faculdade de Medicina Dentária da Universidade de Lisboa (Dental Medicine Faculty of the University of Lisbon), with the presence of consecrated figures within the spectrum of the implantology and oral rehabilitation. João Caramês, chairman of the scientific commission, told DentalPro the goals and expectations of a congress which aims to establish itself in Portugal as the most important one in these areas.
“New prospects within the planning of implant rehabilitation, new approaches for the success of the rehabilitation in terms of aesthetics or new techniques for bone augmentation and preservation of soft tissues, were often presented by their precursors throughout the last editions of the congress. I refer specifically to the presence of doctors such as Richard Lazzara, Dennis Tarnow, Stephen Chu, Newton Cardoso or Galip Gurel, among others. In this sixth edition we can broaden our frontiers even more”.
