The MIDS – Malaysia International Dental Show 2017 took place from April 21st to the 23rd in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and featured lectures concerning various themes in dental medicine lead by international speakers, namely from Switzerland, U.S.A, India, Philippines, Malaysia, etc., hands-on courses and tooth exposure.
The poster presentations happened during the conference’s last day, where the CIRO Centre was the sole european representative. The presented poster’s theme was “Frenectomy Techniques of the Lip: Clinical Cases” and was conducted by members of the SPI Investigation Team supported by the CIRO Centre, for national and international presentations.
“As representative of the CIRO Centre in this conference, I was given the chance to expose some clinical cases from Doctor David Alfaiate, regarding Frenectomy Techniques. This body of work was given the ‘Best Clinical Case’ award, granted by the jurors”, said dental doctor Rafaela Oliveira speaking to DentalPro.
