The I and II Symposiums of Sports Dental Medicine were held on 4 March, in Loures, and on 9 April, in Odivelas, respectively.
Promoted by the Onda de Sorrisos Clinic, the purpose of these symposiums were to discuss the challenges of dentistry in sport under a new perspective and the importance of interdisciplinarity in dentistry.
The events were attended by hundreds of participants, including athletes, managers and coaches of sports clubs, former players and other guests associated with the phenomenon of sports and sports dentistry.
