The dentist Teresa Pinho is the new president of the Portuguese Society of Orthodontics (SPO). On her facebook page she assumes that it is “with great honor and responsibility that I accept this challenge”.
The former president, Armando Dias da Silva, left a message to his successor, on his facebook page too: “I wish Prof. Dr. Teresa Pinho best wishes as SPO’s chairman. I have always argued that positions of this responsibility should never be for so long. I promised that there would only be one mandate; I kept my word. I am sure that Prof. Dr. Teresa Pinho, excellent clinic and major Portuguese publisher of Portuguese international articles in our area of expertise, will consolidate SPO as the society of technological innovation, betting on diagnosis, diversity of treatments and scientific evidence”.
