We recently visited Marfidente’s facilities and, in fact, the range of equipment available in this laboratory is surprising. When we spoke for the first time, in 2016, Hélder Pontes and Marta Moreira, managing partners of Marfidente, assumed that “since the beginning we are qualified to do almost everything in the laboratory. In 2010, we invested in the fixed prosthesis and, in early 2015, we acquired the Cad-Cam. Whoever does not follow the technology, ends up stagnating. And our philosophy has always been based on increasing our ability to respond to customers”.

It was with this in mind that they decided to purchase the CORiTEC 350i Loader PRO + processing system, an imes-core milling machine marketed by Lasermaq. It is an automated all-in-one solution, a new machine concept that now meets all modern requirements for Cad-Cam processing, that is, the processing of all materials from CoCr, titanium, zirconium and resins is possible with a single machine system, almost without restrictions. The modern and optimized design, with high free angles of the five axes of more than 30°, allows high quality wet and dry milling for almost any application. This makes the system ideal for demanding laboratories. The CORITEC 350i Loader system has an automatic feeder expandable up to 12 discs.
“After the acquirement of the first imes-core machine from Lasermaq in 2018, we thought it was time to move on to the second. Why? Because we needed more responsiveness. This new milling machine is slightly faster, has almost three times the power and allows to perform jobs with greater precision”, said the responsible.
Óscar Monteiro, managing partner of Lasermaq, joined the conversation and, after describing the main characteristics of the CORiTEC 350i Loader PRO +, assumed that the company he runs is focused on the customer. “Since our emergence, we have invested heavily in technical support. At this moment, we have a team of technicians who provide very effective responses, achieving the satisfaction of all the customers who work with us, as in the case of Marfidente”.
