OralMED Saúde, the owner of dental clinics OralMED Medicina Dentária, acquired the entirety of the social capital of Grupo Médico dos Dentes, becoming the only shareholder as of January 2021. The nine clinics will be incorporated to the Portuguese group, which will own a total of 60 clinics in the country.
This acquisition is part of OralMED´s growth strategy to “reinforce its leadership position in the dental medicine sector in Portugal, considering both the number of patients and the volume of production and revenue, as well as the total number of clinics”. The employees of Grupo Médico dos Dentes, around 50 people, will join the team of more than 1,000 individuals who already work at Grupo OralMED Saúde.
