The ceremony took place on July 1st at the Anhembi complex, at the FCD – Federal Council of Dentistry – stand, during the 39th Ciosp Congress, which took place in São Paulo, Brazil.
According to the Clitfora publication, this recognition is based on “the academic and clinical career of Dr. Fernando Duarte on both national and international levels in the fields of Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine and Implantology”, in an event that also highlights the special thanks to Patricia Fretes Wood, also an Honorary Academic of the Brazilian Academy of Dentistry who sponsored his nomination.
The ceremony, led by Liana Lima Pinheiro, President of the Brazilian Academy of Dentistry,
was attended by the President of the Federal Council of Dentistry, Juliano do Vale and other members of the Academy’s Directive Council, namely, Flávia Mendonça, Sergio Sacramento, Michelle Protzenko and Aline Raybolt.
