A project led by Portuguese professionals is gaining prominence in Luxembourg’s oral healthcare training sector. The Luxembourg Dental Institute, led by dentist João Pires and bringing together several Portuguese dentists, dental assistants, and receptionists in its teaching team, has just launched the country’s first independent training programme in dental assisting.
The course was designed to meet the growing demand for qualified professionals in Luxembourg’s dental sector, a market that has expanded significantly in recent years.
According to those responsible for the project, the initiative also aims to strengthen the presence and recognition of Portuguese professionals in international dental medicine, contributing to the qualification of new professionals in one of Europe’s most dynamic healthcare markets.
