Oral cancer ranks among the most frequent cancers worldwide and, worryingly, continues to be diagnosed in advanced stages, with devastating consequences for patients. The difference between a late diagnosis and an early intervention can often lie in the clinical eye of the Dentist.
It is precisely with this goal in mind that the Oral Pathology Academy (OPA), founded by dentist André Vilela Alves, is launching the 3rd edition of the Introduction to Clinical Oral Pathology course in Lisbon—a training program designed to enhance diagnostic capability and clinical confidence in the daily practice of oral pathology.
On July 3rd and 4th, participants will have access to an intensive educational experience that combines:
- Theoretical content
- Discussion of real clinical cases
- A hands-on practical component
This year features a new addition: participants will have the opportunity to practice on real patients, allowing for true clinical immersion and direct contact with real-world scenarios.
“More than just a course, it is an opportunity to develop skills that can make a real difference in patients’ lives—and in your professional practice,” states André Vilela Alves, founder of the Oral Pathology Academy.
