Three decades on, the reunion of CESPU’s 1990–96 class

Thirty years after completing their degree in Dentistry at CESPU, former students from the class of 1990–1996 gathered once again. There were long embraces, memories recalled in detail, photographs that immortalized the moment, and many stories shared amid smiles. On July 4th, Bô Zen – Open Air, in Braga, became the setting for a reunion that went beyond a festive occasion to become a tribute to a generation that witnessed some of the greatest changes in dentistry in Portugal.

Organized by Ana Isabel Gingeira, João Lima, and João Cracel, the gathering brought together dozens of former classmates in a program that began with a sunset accompanied by jazz, continued with dinner, and ended on the dance floor. But for the organizers, what mattered most went far beyond the music or the celebration. “This gathering represents the celebration of a shared journey, of friendship, and of pride in everything we built, both professionally and personally,” they summarize. Emotion marked the entire evening. Seeing colleagues again after several years apart, recalling episodes from university days, and learning about the paths each had taken became, for many, the most special moment of the reunion.
