Fotona Portugal, exclusively represented by Lasermaq in Portugal, held its second symposium on 22 May 2026 in Porto, strengthening its commitment to establishing a leading meeting point for doctors and professionals working in aesthetics, dentistry and gynaecology.
According to Lasermaq’s representatives, “the II Fotona Symposium was undoubtedly a very special moment for Lasermaq and a way of marking these 20 years of activity through what we truly believe in: science, knowledge, innovation and sharing. More than a technology presentation event, it was a high-level scientific meeting that brought together renowned national and international speakers and professionals from different areas of medicine. We had three auditoriums running simultaneously, dedicated to dentistry, dermatology and aesthetics, and gynaecology, with distinct scientific programmes, but united by a common denominator: science, evidence and the application of protocols using laser technology.”
They added: “It was particularly important for us to create a space where knowledge could be shared across different fields, allowing professionals to learn about different experiences, protocols and clinical applications, always with a scientific and practice-oriented approach. For this reason, the event also served as a celebration of these 20 years. We look back at the journey we have made, but above all at what we can still build. Our ambition for the coming years is to continue bringing leading technologies to Portugal, while investing increasingly in training, education and knowledge sharing. We want Lasermaq to be recognised not only for the technology it represents, but also for the value it is able to generate around it.”
