The Portuguese Dentist’s Union (SMPD) is a trade union organisation representing professionals who practice dentistry and hold the official title of dentist. Members are those who have joined voluntarily to defend their interests and rights in moral, deontological, economic and professional matters.
The SMDP founding committee met on October 10th with the aim of laying the cornerstones and approving the statutes that were subsequently scrutinised by the relevant official bodies, with the final result of the approval of the creation of the SMDP and the respective publication of the statutes and management in the Employment Bulletin (BTE) No. 44 of 29/11/2020.
