“The bridge to the future” is in Lisbon
Preparations for the annual scientific meeting for the European Osseointegration Association are already being finalised. The 28th edition will be between the 26th and 28th of September and will take place in the city of Lisbon, under the theme “The bridge to the future”. This meeting will be part of the XII Congress of SPED/SPERO.
Portuguese dentist contributes to the drafting of ASCO guidelines
The dentist Rui Amaral Mendes is part of the team of experts responsible for writing the guidelines “Medication-Related Osteonecrosis of the Jaw”, recently published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology. This is the first time that a Portuguese dentist has been involved in the creation of ASCO (American Society of Clinical Oncology) guidelines.
