Susana Falardo Ramos re-elected president of EADSM
The dentist was re-elected at the annual congress of the European Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (EASDM), which took place on 22 November. Susana Falardo Ramos was also recognised by the Spanish Society of Dental Sleep Medicine with a gold pin for her work.

Rodrigo Cavaco is a dentist who works in oral rehabilitation and surgery, using precision equipment such as loupes and microscopes. In a brief interview, he talks about his career and his connection with ZEISS, particularly in the acquisition of this equipment. The dentist reveals that ‘ZEISS is the ideal strategic partner with the quality it brings to its equipment, as well as the after-sales service’, emphasising that he currently can’t conceive of ‘excellent dentistry without the use of loupes or microscopes, especially in the area of endodontics’.
SMD accuses Minister of Health of lying to parliament
João Neto, president of the Union of Dentists (SMD) accused the Minister of Health of lying to parliament and guaranteed that he had proof that he had met with Ana Paula Martins’ chief of staff. In a statement, the president of the SMD expressed his displeasure at the situation and demanded the resignation of the Minister of Health.
