“Campus Clinic was born to create dental medicine of excellence”

Rui Monterroso, clinical director and dentist at Campus Clinic, gave us an interview in which he discusses various topics in dentistry, ranging from training to the doctor-prosthetist relationship, from digital implementation to university courses, as well as his outlook for the future.

Campus Clinic is a reference in the field of dentistry in the north of the country, and beyond. How did this project come about? Tell us your story.

Campus Clinic was born out of the intention to create excellent dentistry for all patients, through the contribution not only of dentists but also of dental assistants and other health professionals. After a career in constant training and evolution, I wanted to create a clinic where I could put into practice all the knowledge and skills I had acquired over time, both nationally and internationally. The big cities in our country already have good references, but we decided to build our clinic in Amarante to allow better access to people in the interior of the country, as we are 40 minutes from the cities of Porto and Braga.

And how has the clinic been developing?

The clinic’s evolution is essentially the result of commitment and effort. The entire Campus Clinic team aims for excellence in its work, ensuring that all areas of dentistry are on par with the best practice. We encourage all our professionals to progress in their careers through continuous training, we value personalized service and we give special importance to our patients’ post-consultation feedback. It is through constructive and well-founded criticism that we can evolve positively.
