Susana Falardo Ramos re-elected president of EADSM

The dentist was re-elected at the annual congress of the European Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (EASDM), which took place on 22 November. Susana Falardo Ramos was also recognised by the Spanish Society of Dental Sleep Medicine with a gold pin for her work.

The EASDM held its general assembly on 22 November 2024, before the representatives of the European societies and associates, and re-elected Susana Falardo Ramos as president to lead the European academy for the next two years, together with the new members of the European Board of Directors: Maria Clotilde Carra from France as vice-president; Paul Raeney from Ireland as secretary, Stanimara Kalaykova from the Netherlands as treasurer, Jacqueline Lisson from Germany as vice-treasurer and two executive members, Patricia Sanjuan from Spain and Miche De Meyer from Belgium.

During the congress dinner, and in front of all those present, SEMDES – the Spanish Society of Dental Sleep Medicine – recognised Susana Falardo for her work in the field of sleep medicine and her multidisciplinary links with dentistry, as well as her support for the Spanish society, by awarding her the gold pin.

The award was announced by the president of SEMDES, Manuel Miguez, and presented by the guest, Fernanda Almeida, from the University of British Columbia in Canada.
