Campus Clinic in the Top 600

‘Campus Clinic was born with the intention of creating dental medicine of excellence for all patients, through the contribution not only of dentists, but also of dental assistants and other health professionals, and I believe that over the years this has happened. The evolution of the clinic is essentially the result of commitment and effort. The entire Campus Clinic team aims for a work of excellence, seeking that all areas of dentistry are at the level of what is best practiced. We encourage all our professionals to progress in their careers through continuous training, we value personalised service and we give special importance to our patients‘ post-appointment feedback,’ says Rui Monterroso, CEO of Campus Clinic.

Regarding 2023, the person in charge states: “Unfortunately, since the pandemic, every year has been uncertain, but in 2023 we achieved above-average growth and consolidated the digital flow in the clinic. Increasingly, we try to perform clinical acts of higher quality, so that the patient values the difference in our price list against conventions and insurance, which practically oblige us to offer treatments. Dental medicine faces several challenges, from the outset, to be practiced with excellence, in all sectors of the population. The second challenge: legislation and bureaucracy that make the dentist have less time to exercise the activity and be forced, most of his time, to be a manager and administrator. The third challenge, the experience of recent graduates. Universities must urgently find solutions so that colleagues finish courses with greater clinical experience, which is not the case”.

He adds: ‘Finally, I’d like to leave you with a thought: dentists need to understand this old phrase: “When the sun rises, it rises for everyone”. Dental medicine must have its doors open to all young people, but we are obliged to create higher quality education and better working conditions. I hope that the new year will bring better conditions for everyone and that Portuguese dentistry can continue to play its cards.”
